Molly, you melt my heart.
This summer we are making some changes! We've purchased a new house, (old, really...built in 1890!) in Wakeman and you are so excited to move in! We have lots of room to run and play and you even get your own bedroom. So exciting!
You love to play dress up and dress like a "bin-sess." You love to "get married" to whomever is willing and you absolutely LOVE to spin around!
Here you are with your big sister, Sarah. You two are growing up so nicely and I love to watch you interact with each other. You can be very friendly to your sister, or you can be very angry, but most times, this is what I see...
SMILES!

Snuggling with one of your favorites...
On our way to Colorado to see Uncle Tegan marry Kelley!
One of my all time favorite things about you, Molly, is your ability to always have a good time - even when you're all alone! Here you are playing in the dirt having a grand old time!
Daddy has taught you how to pump your legs, and you do such a great job on the swings! We were very excited to see that our vacation spot had a swingset! You were in heaven!
Time for the REHEARSAL!

Check out the converse Tegan picked out for you and your fairy wings from Kelley. This is Molly in her element! Ready for a spin!

Just look at these ladies with the groomsmen!
Here is your forever "bince" (prince). You love your Daddy!

June 13, 2010

I promise you we haven't disappeared! Very exciting happenings are going on around here and I simply haven't had time to sit down and capture it all! Tomorrow we begin our move into our new, older, bigger, complete with a potty with a pull string flusher, NEW HOUSE! Molly is so excited to be moving into a new house where she has plenty of room to run and play. We have checked out her new preschool and possibly daycare and she "cannot believe it" that we are so lucky! I hope to capture some pics and write more updates as the move progresses.
On another note, we leave on Wednesday for Colorado to participate in Tegan and Kelley's wedding. It is so exciting to all be going on a vacation together. Not to mention that all four of us are IN the wedding, so it is going to be a blast! You know I'll steal some of Meme's photos to post and display our great time with the Colorado Lesjaks!
More to come!

Easter!

We spent another eventful Easter at Meme and Papa's Florida house. We've been coming here with Meme for spring break for the past three years! You have never spent Easter at home, so all you know is Easter in Florida! Luckily, the Easter Bunny also knows we are here each year! You love hunting for your basket then searching for eggs hidden in the back yard. And what Easter would be complete without pictures!

We also received our annual Easter picture sent from Daddy and Bronson back home. We sure do miss those boys!

April 6, 2010

AGH! I fell off the wagon yet again. Sometimes in this life, I get so busy just enjoying my baby girls that I forget to stop and record the precious moments of their childhood. Right now, we are in Florida for our annual Spring Break trip! We made the drive down with Meme because at the last minute Daddy got called back to work and couldn't come. Our drive was exciting for the most part, except when you you were going to "spit up." I told you that you would be okay, and that maybe you should drink some juice. A while went by, and you said it again. This time you added, "I feel it comin!" I looked back and sure enough, you were spitting up all of the fruit loops you had eaten for breakfast. We stopped at a rest stop and cleaned you up, changed your clothes, and then got back on the road. It was odd that you got car sick just that one time because two years ago when we drove to Florida Sarah did the exact same thing! Sisters forever!
Anyway, since we arrived, you have done nothing but explore, examine, and experiment! You've been quite a fish at both the pool and the beach, and you absolutely love going on bike rides with me!You just crack me up with your funny expressions. You've recently started doing a funny face thing where you give a thumbs up with a smile, then a thumbs down with a frown, and back and forth again. It cracks me up!
You've also been wearing underwear nonstop, except at bedtime. A few weeks ago, I forgot to put a diaper on you at bedtime. Of course, you wet the bed. But, sweetheart that you are, you kept crying and saying, "I'm sorry, mom. Accidents happen. I'm so sorry!" It almost broke my heart that you were so worried about me being mad at you. So, I explained that it was all my fault, that I forgot a diaper.
Fast forward to last night in Florida. We spent the day at the beach, splashing, digging, and running until you couldn't take it anymore. You came to me at one point and asked to go home, saying, "let's go home. My body needs a yest." We came home but we had missed the nap window and you were roaring to go when we got home. Needless to say, 7 p.m. came around, and you crashed. I put you into bed, you guessed it, without a diaper. Well, you wet the bed at 3 a.m. while sleeping with Meme. She tells me you woke up saying, "it's Mommy's fault, she is going to get a spankin on her butt." Sure enough, you got up this morning and came right over to me, hands on your hips, face in a pout, saying, "Mom, you forgot a diaper. Now I need to spank your butt." When you got to the butt part, you put your thumb down and made a huge frown. I guess I learned my lesson!
We are now headed to the pool, so I will write more later! Love ya peanut!

One of Molly's favorite places to go is Grandpa and Grandpa's house. No, we do not have two grandpa's that live together. She just refuses to call Grandma by the appropriate name, and so it is actually pronounced, "Dampa and Dampa's" house. She loves heading over there so that she can sip hot chocolate (with marshmallows, of course), read books, eat chocolate kisses and run around on the 25 acres of land in the sun or snow. Here a few pictures I captured with my phone the last time we were there. Molly just loves it there! Sorry for the poor quality!
